Stronger Alberta Within a United Canada.

On October 19, Albertans vote on Alberta's future. We're a campaign of conservatives working to keep Alberta in Canada, not to defend the status quo, but to fix Alberta's real grievances with Ottawa and build Stronger Alberta Within a United Canada.

News Release

Stronger Alberta Within a United Canada

September 4, 2026. Dane Lloyd, Conservative Member of Parliament for Parkland and Alberta Referendum Lead for the Conservative Party of Canada, announces the launch of the Stronger Alberta Within a United Canada campaign.

“Conservatives have a proud legacy of fighting for Canada since the very dawn of Confederation and continue to proudly defend our country to this day,” said Lloyd.

In the lead-up to the October referendum vote, the campaign will engage Albertans with a message of hope, respect and real change. Conservatives for Canada will make the case for a Stronger Alberta Within a United Canada by highlighting what Canadians can achieve when Alberta is respected and Albertans are heard.

“Albertans don’t have a problem with Canada. They have a problem with an Ottawa-knows-best attitude that has ignored Alberta’s contributions and values, and held our country back,” Lloyd continued. “The answer is not for Alberta to leave Canada. The answer is change in Ottawa.”
